Local Updates (24/7) Community clean up in Bethlehem Saturday Posted on: 09/18/09 Written by: Spotlight Newsroom, Staff email: news@spotlightnews.com Town Supervisor Jack Cunningham is seeking volunteers to assist with community cleanup on Saturday morning, Sept. 19, between 9 a.m. and noon. Cleanup will take place along Glenmont Road. If you would like to volunteer, plan to meet Cunningham at the Town Squire Plaza - in front of the new Tractor Supply store at 9 a.m. Cleanup supplies - including safety vests, rubber gloves, trash bags, and pick-up sticks will be provided. Participants should wear long sleeve shirts and long pants for protection against poison ivy, skin irritation and insect bites. Certificates of participation will be provided to individuals who wish to receive them. Volunteers under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
