Local Updates (24/7) Rotterdam Police Investigate Armed Robbery Posted on: 10/09/09 Written by: Sean Ahern, Contributing Writer email: aherns@spotlightnews.com Rotterdam Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Mobil Station located at 1210 Altamont Ave. on Saturday, Oct. 3. According to the police report, at approximately 3:40 p.m. two black male suspects entered the store. Both were wearing black ski masks , displayed masks and demanded cash from the clerk and taking an undetermined amount of money. The two suspects fled on foot towards Chrisler Ave. The first suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s. He is approximately 6’2 and was wearing blue jeans, a green t-shirt, black jacket and black ski mask. The second suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s. He is approximately 5’4 and was wearing blue jeans, a short sleeve green t-shirt over a long sleeve black t-shirt and a black ski mask, according to police reports.
