Biggest Sale of the Year (January 6???)

Happy New Year. It is the 6th day of the year and one local store is having the "biggest sale of the year". I better shop there now and not bother for the rest of the year ... it's only going to go downhill from here. Are you serious?
As a small business owner you have got to put some careful thought and planning into your message. The alternative is to look like a fool having the biggest sale of the year 6 days into the New Year. Bounce your ideas off of me.. no cost (you'll help my blood pressure too).
