Writing about Resistance: Imagining the Us & Them of Different Eras in Troy
Using historical examples like newspapers and books, we will reflect on what it was like for people to encounter and promote radical ideas in Troy. We will write small essays, poems, personal letters or letters to the editor representing the imagined ideas of individuals and their perspectives on US and THEM at different points in the city’s history.
This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by The Arts Center of the Capital Region.
