Pro Squash Tour returns to Albany, April 13-15, 2012 at the Fort Orange Club, 110 Washington Avenue, for this year's Albany Open. A deep international draw of touring squash pros will fight for top honors as well as important tour ranking points, as players try to qualify for the tour championship tournament in May.
Headlining this year's draw are reigning PST World Champion Bradley Ball of England, two-time Irish National Champion John Rooney and 2011 Albany Open Champion John White, former Scottish National Champion, who holds the world record for the fastest squash shot in a match (172 mph). They will face stiff competition from a talented field from across the globe. In addition, the Albany region will be well represented by a talented pair. Brothers Dan and Kyle Sleasman are top players in Albany, as well as coaches of the Siena College Squash team.
Tournament action begins on Friday, April 13 at Siena College. Saturday and Sunday matches will be played at the Fort Orange Club.
