Meet the Artist: Since the early 1990’s, Mike Hayes has worked in upstate New York as a graphic designer, illustrator and painter. He studied painting and sculpture under Fred Burton, Remy Miller and Tom Lee at the Memphis College of Art. His most recent work reflects a multitude of styles and media including plein air landscapes, abstract paintings, wooden sculpture, digital graphics, and editorial illustration. Signed and numbered copies of the artist’s 2012 limited edition print Albany NY Waterfront are available in the Museum Shop.
