Delmar Kiwanis Spring Pancake Breakfast

The Kiwanis Club of Delmar will hold its annual Spring Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 12th from 8 AM to Noon at the Delmar Presbyterian Church at 585 Delaware Avenue, Delmar. It is an all-you-can-eat-breakfast featuring orange juice, pancakes, our very famous sausages and coffee, tea or milk.

The cost is $6.00 for adults, under 12 - $4.00 and Pre-School children Free. The Delmar Kiwanis Club works to support Kiwanis Projects for Youth. This includes projects for our K-Kids, Builder’s Club at the Middle School, Key Club at the High School and Circle K at U. Albany. The Delmar Kiwanis Club also works to support community groups such as Little League and Babe Ruth. Each year, Kiwanis sends at least one child with disabilities to Kamp Kiwanis for a week. The group also awards scholarships to students who have demonstrated a commitment to community service. Proceeds from the Spring Pancake breakfast will go to help fund the Elsmere Elementary School Playground Project.

The Kiwanis Club’s major local project is support for the Pediatric Trauma Unit at the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. To date, the group has raised almost $500,000 for this worthy project. The Delmar Club alone gives almost $10,000 each year for Pediatric trauma.

Kiwanis counts on community support for these fund-raisers in order to continue to serve the children of our community and the world. Please plan on having breakfast with us on Saturday, May 12th.
