Lost to History: Archaeology of the Ballston Archaeological District, Saratoga County, New York.

The Ballston Archaeological District was identified by archaeologists from the NYS Museum prior to the renovation of Middle Line Road in the Town of Ballston , Saratoga County . The district consists of 14 sites associated with the Colonial (pre-1790), Federal (c. 1790-1830), and 19th century occupation of Saratoga County . This talk will trace the history of the community through its archaeological remains and document what life was like in this community during the 18th and 19th century.
