This presentation, conducted by Harry Bradshaw Matthews, places within historical context how the USCT was impacted by earlier leaders and soldiers, as well as the USCT's impact upon the Buffalo Soldiers. The presentation will share the impact of important personalities who developed and shaped the African American infrastructure to meet the needs of the emerging Black American ethnic identity. A small display will be a part of the presentation. Harry Bradshaw Matthews is an Associate Dean at Hartwick Colege and the Founding President of the USCT Institute. Seating is limited and registration is required.
