While famous for the climactic battles of the 18th century, Fort Ticonderoga celebrates the 19th century history and rural heritage of the Lake Champlain Valley. From the battlefields of the American Civil War to the dairy pastures at home, this valley has made a large impact on the northeast and nation as a whole. In this event we celebrate the techniques, livestock, farms, and farmers that live adjacent to Lake Champlain.
