THEATER VOICES Staged Reading of THE TIMEKEEPERS by Dan Clancy, directed by Stewart J. Zully

ONE WEEKEND ONLY! THE TIMEKEEPERS is set in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp in WWII Germany. Ben a Jewish prisoner sits in a small cell repairing watches. A second prisoner Hans, who is homosexual, is thrown in with him. The initial tension between the two men gradually recedes as they struggle through their sometimes humorous differences and prejudices, and are able to co-exist as a strong friendship develops through their mutual love of opera.
