Congressman Paul Tonko will be at the Voorheesville Public Library on March 27 at 7 p.m. to explain the many changes in health insurance that are now happening under the Affordable Care Act. Among those changes is a new Health Insurance Marketplace that is set to open this fall.
The topics that Congressman Tonko will be ready to address include the choices the new system has to offer, consumer rights and protections, and the impact the Affordable Care Act could have on business owners, families, people who can’t afford health insurance, persons on Medicaid and seniors on Medicare. Congressman Tonko, who represents the 20th District of New York, will also discuss navigating the system and how to get assistance when you need it.
How will the Affordable Care Act affect you? Come to the library’s Community Room and ask the Congressman.
