Ely Parker, a NY resident and Seneca Indian witnessed history at the surrender of Robert E. Lee. Parker's story is one of contributions to his country when citizenship was denied. Alvin Parker tells the story of his great, great, great, great uncle for visitors of Grant Cottage.
