DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) presents its 9th annual Africana Film Series in celebration of Black History Month. Coordinated by Kevin Hickey\, ACPHS associate professor of Africana Studies\, the series is comprised of three African films: Feb. 5 - The Little Girl Who Sold the Sun; Feb. 12 - Pieces of Identity; Feb. 19 - Scrap Heap. In addition\, the Feb. 5 screening will include a half-hour slideshow about Prof. Hickey’s four-year bicycle trip across Africa (he was the first American to cross the Sahara Desert on a bicycle). All films begin at 7:00 p.m.
