Porco told several people he could not have committed the crime because he was sleeping in the student lounge at Munro Hall in the University of Rochester when Peter and Joan Porco were being bludgeoned with an ax. None of the Rochester students who testified in the case saw Porco in the dorm on the night of Nov. 14 " 15.

Their witness list has 30 people, but is not expected to take longer than two or three days of testimony. Closing arguments will then follow before the jury deliberates for a verdict that could come as early as the end of next week, Aug. 4.
