MALTA: Warning system topic of meeting

Also at the meeting, the town board bid farewell and best wishes to Building and Planning Coordinator Heather Mallozzi, who is relocating to Boston. According to the board, Mallozzi has contributed extensively to the town's welfare and was awarded the State Award for Planning because of her work.

Town Historian Teri Ulrich reported that the book "Malta Memories" is now complete and will contain 70 stories written by 45 local people.

"You will be amazed when you open the pages of this book and see how many friends and neighbors contributed," she said.

Kevin King from the comptroller's office reported that the Luther Forest Technology Campus group responded to questions regarding utility lines in the area and, ultimately, "homeowners associations boards are pleased" with the results. ""
