A Flurry of Winter Themed Theatre

Showtimes are Friday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1 and 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $16 for adults and $11 for children.

A different kind of carol

From Wednesday, Dec. 12, thorugh Sunday, Dec. 30, Epiphany Theater Company of Saratoga Springs will offer a version of "A Christmas Carol" with two actors and four puppets.

It stars George Deihl, who played Nils Krogstad in Epiphany's 2006 production of "A Doll House." Gretchen Van Lente's puppets include a 10-foot tall Ghost of Christmas Future.

The show has been adapted by playwright James Armstrong, is a founding members of the Northwest Florida Young Playwrights Society.

She's plucky, she's cheerful, she's a moptop, and kids everywhere cheer at her heroics. "Annie" is on stage at the Schenectady Light Opera Company this weekend, Dec. 14 to 16, after a successful start last week.

Emily Frank from Loudonville and Jessica Carrozzi share the role of Annie, and are joined by girls from the Capital District.
