Former Delmar pizza worker charged with sex crime

A 40-year-old Glenmont man who worked at the Delmar Four Corners' I Love NY Pizza has been charged with felony possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, Bethlehem police said.

The arrest of Ruan Tolumi, 40, of Winne Place, Glenmont stems from an incident last May, police said.

The Bethlehem police is urging parents to speak with their children and to report any unusual or inappropriate conduct that they may have information on regarding Tolumi.

The Delmar Four Corners is known to be a hang-out for many middle school aged children, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bethlehem Police Department at 439-9973.

Tolumi was arraigned yesterday in Bethlehem Town Court and sent to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $50,000 bond bail. Tolumi is scheduled to reappear in Bethlehem Town Court Monday, Feb. 26.

The arrest is the culmination of a nine-month investigation by Bethlehem police and the department's Family Services Unit.
