Carr had the top individual performance for Ballston Spa. He placed second to Fogarty in the 300 dash with a time of 38.26 seconds. John Russo added a third-place finish in the 55 hurdles finals with a time of 8.80 seconds.
Saratoga struggled to a ninth-place finish in the boys team standings, but the Blue Streaks produced a league champion in Demetri Goutos. The sophomore won the 3,200 title with a time of 10:03.17, nearly two seconds ahead of runner-up Mike Danaher from Shen.
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake placed seventh in the team standings with 23 points. Cody Buell had the top performance for the Spartans with a second-place finish in the 600 in a time of 1:25.53.
On the girls side, Saratoga received big performances from Madalayne Smith and Hannah Davidson to fend off Colonie for the league title.
Smith showed the Blue Streaks have some sprinting talent to go along with its traditional strength, distance running. The freshman won the 55 dash in a time of 7.46 seconds and added a victory in the 55 hurdles with a time of 8.58 seconds. Sophomore Abby Ochse contributed a victory in the 600 with a time of 1:41.59, 1.5 seconds ahead of Ballston Spa's Erika Brockman.
Davidson matched Smith with two individual titles. The junior won the 1,500 in a time of 4:49.66 .28 seconds ahead of teammate Brianne Bellon and took first place in the 3,000 with a time of 10:15.03.
The victories by Davidson, Smith and Ochse helped Saratoga finish with 84 points, 16 points ahead of Colonie. Shen was third with 67.5 points, Ballston Spa placed sixth with 47 points and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake finished seventh with 45 points.
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake produced two individual champions. Kendra Adams won the 300 dash with a time of 42.51 seconds, and Meaghan Gregory claimed the 1,000 title with a time of 3:00.53. Amy Cuomo earned points in two events, including a second-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 33 feet, 7.5 inches.
