"All three of them are very talented. We did choose two, but we had some thoughts about it whether we were being fair to Tom Paolucci so we thought we'd let the voters decide," Kolesnikoff said at the time. "It should not be regarded as a sequential process like best, next best, third best."
Paolucci and Hughes will both appear on the Republican, Conservative, and Independence lines in the general election on Nov. 6. Bellamy and fellow Democrat Margaret Catellier will appear on the Democrat and Working Families lines.
Absentee votes did not affect any other Clifton Park or Halfmoon races. Longtime town justice and Democrat Robert Rybak easily defeated Republican challenger Erika Riebel in both the Independence and Conservative primaries.
Halfmoon incumbent Kevin Tollisen also easily defeated challenger Jeffrey Hartnett for the town justice on the Independence and Conservative lines.
Polls will be open for all voters in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. For information, call the county board of elections at 885-2249.""
