The requests this year to bring the play back were too many to ignore, said Marr.

"This is a part I really wanted to do. It's sort of a dream part for an actor," said Marr.

Marr, of Queens, has appeared in several off-Broadway productions, including dozens of appearances in Virginia, Florida and Ohio theaters. He makes his first appearance with NYSTI on Saturday.

Eileen Schuyler, who is playing Abby Brewster, is reprising her role in the NYSTI 1996 production of the play. On Saturday, Oct. 21, NYSTI will host a mask contest for attendants of "Arsenic and Old Lace" during intermission. Masks will be judged on originality. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the end of the show.

The production will run: Saturday, Oct. 13, 8 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 14, 8 p.m.; Friday, Oct. 19, 8 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 20, 8 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 21, 8 p.m. On weekdays the production will run at 10 a.m. Oct. 12, 17, 18, 19, 23 and 24. On Tuesday, Oct. 16 Arsenic and Old Lace will begin at 10:30 a.m.
