ROTTERDAM: Price Chopper marks 75th anniversary

"You can't minimize the importance of having the corporate headquarters in your community," Steiner said. "You can see that by the dedication, commitment and investment that the Golub family makes into all portions of the Capital Region, but of course this is home and their major focus is Schenectady."

Family member Mona Golub who serves as the corporation's vice-president said it is a thrill to be a part of the business and a part of the fourth generation of family members working for the business.

"We are moving forward and Price Chopper is a healthy growing company and still to this day American-owned and family-managed," Golub said. "We have a passion for this business and I think it shows in what we do. We are very grateful to our customers' loyalty throughout these years and we will continue to move forward."

The Golub Corporation has planned a few promotions in its stores. It is bringing back its Price Chopper Pantry Patrol that rewards customers for investing in Price Chopper brands.
