But as September turns into October, the focus begins to shift toward Sectionals, where BH-BL will try to win its sixth consecutive title. Though the class A field could be as small as six teams, Bynon said there is one challenger that could make it difficult for the Spartans to defend their title.

"South Glens Falls is one of the front runners," said Bynon. "There's a team that everyone needs to be concerned about come Sectional time. They've got a very good team."

But as long as BH-BL continues to work hard, Bynon said his team will be hard to beat.

"We're going to go out there, and if we give ourselves a chance to win every match, we'll take it," he said.""
