Ballston Spa runs well at Warrior Classic

It was the second invitational meet in a row that Ballston Spa's girls team placed in the top two. The Scotties were second at the Ballston Spa Lions Invitational one week earlier.

On the boys' side, Ballston Spa placed third out of 12 teams with 51.33 points. Shaker won the meet with 161.33 points.

Brian Yingling had the top individual performance for Ballston Spa. The junior leapt 20-4.5 to win the long jump.

Michael Lyons was second in the 3,000 with a time of 9:25.5, while Matthew Pastore and Evan Grey finished a respective third and fourth in the 400 dash. Devin Bennet took fifth place in the 800.""
