Police charge pair with recent bank robberies

Guilderland Police arrested Charles R. Slade Jr., 37, and Christi Fraser, 35, of Saratoga for the Wednesday, July 9 robbery of the First National Bank of Scotia and the Saturday, July 19, robbery Pioneer Savings Bank, according to police reports.

The arrests were a result of a joint investigation with Colonie Police, who charged the pair with the robbery of a Key Bank on Tuesday, July 29.

They were charged with robbery in the third degree and grand larceny in the third degree for the July 9 incident, and robbery in the second degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree for the July 19 incident, according to the reports.

They were arraigned and sent to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail.
