It has a variety of orchards, beef and sheep farms.
It is a good idea, though, to reach out to some groups of people who might not be utilizing what the FSA has to offer, he said.
"There is a desire to reach out to groups who weren't always participating in our programs," Della Rocco said. "There's always a need."
Della Rocco said his agency works with farmers and helps them with loan, community and disaster programs.
"We work directly with the farmers," Della Rocco said.
He also said the FSA will set up a display at the Altamont fair, scheduled from Tuesday, Aug. 12, to Sunday, Aug. 17, to publicize the programs.
