Shenendehowa makes the grade

School officials said that the district will continue to pay close attention to how its resources are allocated.

"There is a commitment to routinely monitor the effectiveness of what we do to be sure that our decisions and actions support our dedication to excellence in all things and foster a safe learning environment," said Superintendent L. Oliver Robinson.

Shenendehowa is the largest school district in Saratoga County, with 13 schools and an operating budget of approximately $146 million for the current school year. Officials recently enacted a spending cap on certain items for the current year in hopes of saving $4 million and preparing for massive cuts in state aid in the coming year.""
