Access points are proposed on Moe Road, where there would be a small parking lot and possibly a playground, Horseshoe Turn, Liberty Way and Huntwood Drive. Except for the main entrance on Moe Road, all other entrances would be pedestrian walkways for residents of the park district to access the trail.
Although the board said they are not against the trail, they would like to take the time to address the concerns of residents in the district.
Supervisor Phil Barrett said, "We are certainly going to address these concerns before we move forward."
He said he would walk the proposed trail with a resident from Countrymen Estates North to gain a feel for the resident's concerns.
The park would be built on property surrounded by Countrymen Estates, Countrymen Estates North, Moe Road and Huntwood.""
