Shipp said the Ballston Lake Improvement Association and Ballston officials have met with Clifton Park officials including Barrett and former Town Planner Kate Maynard twice since beginning the study of the lake.
"I would be receptive to reviewing it," said current Clifton Park planner John Scavo of the regulations Ballston is considering.
Scavo started with the Clifton Park Planning Department in April.
"They have to be willing to take the initiative first," said Scavo, with regard to Ballston implementing the regulations first.
The public comment period on the BLOD legislation is still open. Residents of the Town of Ballston can still submit written comments by email or letter through Saturday, July 12.
Southworth has asked that any resident who feels their property is erroneously included in the BLOD to contact a member of the Town Board.
