Objections to petitions of three candidates for the 43rd Senate District have been filed with the state Board of Elections.
Challenges were filed on the petitions of Joanne Yepsen and Mike Russo for the Democratic line, and Brian Premo and Christoper Consuello for the Working Families line.
No challenges were filed as of Thursday, July 17 for the Republican line.
Premo is also seeking the Democratic line, although no objections have been filed on his Democratic petition.
Assemblyman Roy McDonald, R-Saratoga, and Nassau Councilman Ray Seney will likely challenge each other in a primary for the Republican line.
The 43rd Senate District includes the towns of Malta, Milton, Saratoga, Clifton Park, Halfmoon and a portion of the City of Saratoga Springs in Saratoga County, as well as, portions of Rensslear and Washtington counties.
