The Guilderland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Tech Valley Panel Breakfast, at 7:45 a.m. at the Century House in Latham. Mike Tucker from CEG, County Executive Mike Breslin, and Ray Melleady from CDTA will be attending the panel. There is a $10 registration fee, according to its website.
Kathy Burbank, executive director of the GCCC said the panel will discuss the implications of the "tech valley" movement and its effect on small, local businesses.
The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce as well as the Colonie Chamber of Commerce will be co-hosting the event.
Among some of the topics to be discussed are the University at Albany's Nano-Tech building and the Vista Technology Park, Burbank said.
