Pat Cullen wins Delmar Dash duel with Chuck Terry

Without any women to push her, Bryans fed off the pace being set by the men near her.

"I don't find it difficult," she said. "There's always some men (running nearby), so I just try to stay with them."

Bryans said she is hoping to build off the momentum of Sunday's performance as she prepares to run in the Boston Marathon in two weeks.

"I feel I'm in pretty good shape," she said. "I've been putting in the miles, and I'm really looking forward to the next couple of weeks where I can taper and get my legs ready for the marathon."
