Glenville gets the brush-off

"We needed to hear from those people who pay their bills what kind of coverage they want. They want to pay extra for a service and that is their choice," said Quinn.

Moving forward Quinn said there is an area that is considered "no man's land," which needs to be addressed. The town is looking at the boundary lines between District 4 and the Beukendaal Fire Department where Quinn said lines literally run through the middle of buildings in the Scotia-Glenville Industrial Park. Quinn said he wants the town to look into changing lines so that there would be less confusion over coverage by creating a larger District 4 area. Both the town and village are hoping that creating larger district will also allow for a longer than one year contract the village has for the coverage of the Fire District 4 area.""
