Scotia-Glenville's Tim Holzhauer and Kyle Palombo won field events for the Tartans. Holzhauer claimed the long jump title with a leap of 21 feet, 3.25 inches, while Palombo handled the competition in the triple jump with a distance of 44 feet, 3.5 inches.
Other boys field event winners included Ballston Spa's Tim Schmitt (high jump), Queensbury's Nick Gerardi (pole vault), Averill Park's John Rudd (shot put) and New Paltz's Dan Cimino (discus).
Niskayuna's Dana Provost and Sonya Pevzner won individual titles in girls events at the Warrior Classic. Provost finished first in the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.8 seconds, and Pevzner won the triple jump with a distance of 32 feet, 5.75 inches. Pevzner also finished third in the 200 dash finals with a time of 27.4 seconds.
Individual champions in girls track events were Schenectady's Dahni Anderson (100 dash), Saunders' Ihiechi Ohia-Enyia (200 and 400 dashes), Schuylerville's Alexis Broz (400 hurdles) and Queensbury's Danielle Winslow (800 and 1,500) and Brittany Winslow (3,000). Schuylerville's Sarah Palmer (high jump, pole vault and long jump), Ballston Spa's Ameila Gonzales (shot put) and Queensbury's Priscilla Thermidor (discus) won field events.
Ballston Spa won the girls 400 and 1,600 relays, while Queensbury finished first in the girls 3,200 relay."
