Foster estimated that 200 people found their way to the tasting, helping the team to break its fundraising record both for a single night and year.
Foster has taken her restaurant's involvement with the local breast cancer community to the next level by agreeing to host satellite events for Gilda's Club of Latham, a social support community for those with breast cancer, their family and friends.
"I'd love to be an outreach center for people who don't want to go all the way to Albany for meetings," said Foster.
An informational meeting will be held at Village Pizzeria, located on Route 29, on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 6:30 p.m.
Asked about the future of the "Ta-Tas" team, Foster said she has no plans of quitting anytime soon.
"My quest is that my children's children and my nieces won't have to experience what I've gone through," she said. "So long as I'm breathing, I'll be walking."
