Glenmont burglars nabbed at car wash

Police said they also discovered a hammer in a snow bank along Route 9W that they believed was used to break into the car wash, and after taking a statement from the owner of the business, officers took photographs of the door and the damaged change machine.

Police did not release the amount of money allegedly stolen from the car wash.

Both men were transported to the Bethlehem Police Department without incident and arraigned by Bethlehem Town Justice Ryan Donovan before being sent to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail, the report states.

Police said video surveillance would be secured as evidence.
