Mohonasen shows its might

Scotia-Glenville (4-8, 6-11) fell behind its Foothills Council rivals from Glens Falls 20-9 in the first quarter and never recovered.

Sarah Mason scored 18 points, and Kasey Sullivan added 12 points for Glens Falls (8-6, 11-7). Cassie Broadhead's 13 points paced Scotia-Glenville.

Andrea VanDyke netted 18 points, and Amber Pitcher chipped in 11 points for Berne-Knox-Westerlo (10-2, 11-5) in its Western Athletic Conference victory over Schenectady Christian. Bethany Goodrich scored 14 points for the Falcons (5-6, 9-7), and Ashlyn Slater added 12 points.

Ariana Youngs netted 17 points to lead Lansingburgh (13-3, 13-5) to its 15-point Colonial Council win against Schalmont (2-14, 3-15). Ashlene Potter led the Sabres with eight points.

Scotia-Glenville and Schalmont have home games Friday. Scotia-Glenville meets South Glens Falls, while Schalmont welcomes Voorheesville to western Rotterdam."
