AMD has long accused Intel"which is out-performing AMD in the technology sales race"of monopolistic practices.
If the language being used by both companies is any indicator, the matter could end up in court, where the big question will be whether or not GlobalFoundries is a subsidiary of AMD.
"We believe that the legal process will determine that AMD has not breached the patent cross-licensing agreement," read a press release from AMD. "GlobalFoundries sees Intel's action as a diversionary tactic to district the world from the global antitrust scrutiny it faces. We remain on track to manufacture products for our current and other future customers."
