In other county news, Saratoga County Director of Personnel William Baker is resigning from his position after serving there for 10 years.
The Board of Supervisors accepted his resignation on Tuesday, and thanked Baker for his work. Taking over for Baker will be John Kalinkewicz, the deputy personnel officer.
"I think I'm ready for the challenges of the position, and ready to go," he said Tuesday.
As a result, the position of deputy personnel officer is now vacant. It carries a salary of $69,822, and applications may be submitted to the county personnel department, 40 McMaster St., Ballston Spa 12020, until April 17.""
