Armed with an endorsement from the Saratoga Springs Republican Committee, Mayor Scott Johnson announced on Wednesday that he will seek a second term in office.
In a statement, Johnson said his platform is built out of a need for fiscal conservatism, balanced with a need to expand the tax base while lessening the tax burden. He also said spoke of the importance of conducting city business with professionalism and integrity.
I believe we've made great strides toward regaining the confidence of our community in the Office of the Mayor, in just one year since taking office, said Johnson. "I pledge to continue my efforts to deliver a Mayor's office that our City both deserves and expects."
