Ghost tour guides are given a sheet that gives factual information about ghost sightings in the area and add their own information to the tour. Gearing has found information on many of the different properties and roads that make up the Stockade, pointing to different houses and roads and their historic significance to the area including a "subway" which was used to move train carts via horses through parts of town, helping to cut down on fire damage done by early trains and their emissions.
"It was good," said tour-goer Erika Cona. "The guide was knowledgeable. The massacre parts were very interesting, I always wanted to know the historic parts."
"I liked the idea of the hidden things," said Robert Gemmell. "The hidden bits of architecture interested me. Its just a chance to learn about local history, especially something as special as the Stockade."
