Tony award winner surprises drama club [photo]

Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce (standing at center) paid a surprise visit to the high school Drama Club following the March 26 performance of the musical \Bells are Ringing. After watching the show, the famous alum (Class of 1977, Saratoga Springs High School) praised the students for their outstanding performance. Pierce won Tonies for his Broadway performances in "Curtains" and "Spamalot" and several Emmy Awards for his role as Dr. Niles Crane in the hit television sticom "Frasier." He was in Saratoga Springs for a benefit for Home Made Theater.
