Mary Beth Hynes, a board member who also sits on the Saratoga County Water Authority board, said she is relieved to finally be moving forward.
"Although I voted to bond even without the stipulation [that IDA provide some funding] I voted 'yes,' as did the others, just so that we can move this forward," said Hynes. "We are going to have a hard time meeting our July deadline to connect, but I'm relieved that it looks like we're done for now."
Hynes said the board voted to send out bid documents for the project and is hoping to open them at the agenda meeting on Tuesday, April 27.
The March 16 meeting was originally scheduled for Monday, March 8, but it was canceled.
