The one thing Guilderland will not be able to do as often as it has in the past is test itself against teams from outside Section II. Due to state-mandated scheduling cuts, the Lady Dutch only have one game against a non-Sectional opponent " a contest against Section V's Canandaigua Academy. Their other non-league game is their opener against Niskayuna.
"We're fine with it," said Chatnik. "We couldn't have picked up anyone stronger than Niskayuna and Canandaigua Academy."
No matter who they play, the Lady Dutch know they will be targets after last year's accomplishments.
"They had a fine year, they were ranked fifth in the nation " they couldn't do much more than they did," said Chatnik.
