Town gears up for Bike Expo

Bethlehem School District's Healthy Kids Committee will also be at the event, volunteering with skills stations and passing out information. The Healthy Kids Committee is a group of local volunteers focused on nutrition, exercise and healthy lifestyles for children.

"It's a logical partnership. It's good for similar groups to help each other out," said Healthy Kids Committee Secretary Cindy Ferrari.

Nan Lanahan, Bethlehem Parks and Recreation Administrator, said organizers are expecting "a few hundred" attendees for the event.

"Commuting with non-vehicle traffic is becoming more popular and if we want people to ride bikes, we should make sure they do it safely," said Gallo.
