JMJC team wins seven medals in Montreal

The Glenville-based Jason Morris Judo Center team won seven medals at last weekend's Quebec Open in Montreal.

Brad Bolen and Natalie Lafon led the way with gold medals for JMJC. Bolen won all four of his matches in the 66-kilogram division to earn his first Quebec Open medal, while Lafon earned ippons (full points) in all five of her matches in the 52kg weight class to gain her third medal at the event. Cammi Kaichi placed third in the women's 52kg division.

Other bronze medalists for JMJC were Nick Kossor, Hannah Martin, Tony Sangimino and Christie Woosley.

JMJC has won 71 total medals at the Quebec Open over the last 10 years.
