Voters narrowly approve $49.3 million facilities project

The public referendum on the $49.3 million facilities improvement project phase I was approved by Ballston Spa School district voters - unofficial results are 1,272 yes and 1,159 no, according to information from the district.

The project will address urgent and critical building infrastructure needs, health and safety issues, open classroom space deficiencies and the aging Malta Avenue facility as recommended by the district's Facility Planning Team.
