The Shenendehowa boys swim team improved its duel meet record to 3-0 with Tuesday’s 95-86 victory at Ballston Spa.
The Plainsmen received individual victories from several swimmers. Taylor Nichols took first place in the 200-yard freestyle, while Ryan Gordon finished first in the 200 individual medley. Luke Gordon (100 freestyle), Mike Stanley (500 freestyle) and Connor Killane (100 backstroke) also won their events, as did diver Adam Bonk.
Chris Vesic led Ballston Spa with a victory in the 50 freestyle. Dave Gardiner contributed a win in the 100 butterfly, and Nick Pascucci added a victory in the 100 breaststroke.
In other boys swim meet action Tuesday, Mohonasen/Schalmont defeated Guilderville 95-83 in Voorheesville.
Greg Mattice won the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke to lead Mohonasen/Schalmont. Cody Nelson (200 individual medley), Kresent Ballantyne (diving) and Matthew Fisher (100 freestyle) also won individual events.
Christopher Zanotta had victories in the 200 and 500 freestyles for Guilderville, while Logan Marshall (50 freestyle) and Samuel DeSantis (100 backstroke) added individual wins.
