Quantcast

Editorial: SEQR first, then weigh the facts

That all said, if what planners find in their review of this project is that the plant will be safe to the residents of Ballston, let’s not stand in the way of progress. This plant could conceivably be a nice shot in the arm for the town, which relies heavily on agricultural. Not to mention it’s about the perfect use for an industrial park. And surely no one will pan the idea of having jobs come into the area.

In the meantime, the board’s decision is clear. Order an environmental review, and wait until all the facts are in to pass judgment.
