Albany Dutchmen go pink for cancer awareness

In honor of breast cancer awareness, the Albany Dutchmen are hosting a charity fund raiser for the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen for the Cure when they play Cooperstown in Saturday's Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game at Bob Bellizzi Field.

A special pink game-worn player jersey will be given away in a silent auction, and people can participate in a 50/50 drawing and a raffle for prizes including a day for two at Saratoga National Golf Club, a $50 gift certificate to the Log Jam Restaurant and a free massage and blow dry at Rumors Spa.

Saturday's Albany-Cooperstown game starts at 7 p.m. The first pitch will be thrown out by a cancer survivor.
